Polaris named best company to work for in Opole, Poland

For the second year in a row, the Polaris factory in Opole, Poland has been recognised as the best company to work for in the Opolskie region, granted by a forum of city officials and educational and labor institutions. The Polaris factory in Opole opened in 2014, and was the first Polaris factory built for the production of off-road vehicles outside of North America.

Marcin Osowski, Director of Operations at the Polaris Opole Factory, said: “This recognition is not only a reward for the team’s continuous efforts to build an engaged and professional working environment, but also highlights our role in the local community. It is a source of tremendous joy and pride for our team members that they work for a company recognised as the best company in the Opolskie region.”

The recognition is based on an independent, non-commercial evaluation of key aspects, including the motivation and development of employees, internal best practices, employee policies, know-how management, innovation and business growth as well as corporate social responsibility activities and local partnerships. This year the committee added and highlighted aspects related to how the company supported employees throughout the coronavirus pandemic by providing the highest health and safety standards and ensuring employment stability.

Despite its deep American roots, Polaris is a global brand that serves over 100 countries across the world. The production plant at Opole is over 33-thousand square metres, with over 580 dedicated and skilled employees. Since opening in 2014, the factory prides its manufacturing process on first-class quality, product development and constant innovation, and has manufactured over 100-thousand units to date.

To celebrate the people behind the brand, Polaris has launched a new initiative, called Polaris People, to showcase how, for many people, Polaris isn’t just a brand but a life choice. Check out the first episode of Polaris People to join Lukasz Zaremba - a Polaris Off Road employee who works as a Validation Engineer at the Opole facility in Poland - and the test riders in Poland as they provide a preview of the manufacturing process at the Opole factory and test the new 2021 Sportsman 570.
